In Div. 5, Potomac fell to the No. 4 seed with a loss to C.D. Hylton last week and holds a very slim .3 point lead over George Washington for the last playoff spot. The Panthers’ playoff spot is still in jeopardy even if they beat Freedom-Woodbridge this week, considering the low amount of points that they will receive from the 2-7 Eagles. Luckily, George Washington will be playing Halifax County this week, who at 3-6, won’t give G.W. a big point boost. Right ahead of the Panthers is Fauquier, who plays 7-2 Liberty.
In the Div. 6 statewide top ten ratings, the Bobcats fell to No.3, while Woodbridge continued to move up and is now in the No. 6 spot.
